PROFILE:
Daniel started windsurfing back in 1982, and competed a lot in the 1990:s. Since speed always has been the main focus for Daniel it was natural to start sailing speedsailing when the GPS started to make an impact in windsurfing. He is one of the top speed sailors in the very competitive swedish speed scene. Daniel has also sailed in the Speed World Cup, starting in 2007 in Walvis Bay, Namibia with a 22nd place. The best result so far is a 16th place overall in the 2009 world Championships at Karpathos, and in one of the heats he managed to place fourth ahead of famous speed sailors like Antoine Albeau and Björn Dunkerbeck.
